Hidden Speed Test: 0-100km/h / 0-60mph

Pressing start in the Speed Test makes you start in the tunnel, and only measures your 0-100kmh /0-60mph speed, along with your acceleration G.

EDIT: The effect seemed temporary. I need to find out how to re-create it

I got it to work. I held start until the track loaded and I was placed inside the tunnel.

When I tried it, I held start before choosing 'speed test', then held start on the speed test menu.

I was then placed inside the tunnel. You should hear the confirm sound twice.

Tried this, speed test happened as normal.
 
Okay then, try this.

1) Hold start then select 'speed test'
2) Keep holding start until the speed test menu appears completely
3) Hold start on 'Begin Measuring Acceleration Capablilties'
4) Release start when you hear the second confirm sound.

Done this several times and it's worked for me.

Nice pointless, space wasting post there...

Cool find. I may try this sometime. When I actually decide to use that feature. Only been on the track once, and that was online just to check it all out.
 
How do people find out these things ingame,why would you be pressing start in the 1st place...
 
It's a glitch. The one time I accidentally hit start on that menu, as soon as I accelerated the test ended.

When you cross the start/finish line for normal race ( its just in front of you ) the test finish with 1000 m and g result :sly: .
 
Got it to work, though not really as was instructed I think. It does just run up to the tiniest bit though and really is only there for measuring G. Sort of like the MP4-12C v GT-R race Jeremy Clarkson did in his Powered Up DVD.
