here are the first 3 lines of this song by AC/DC:

"Living easy, living free
( )( ) on a one-way ride
Asking nothing, leave me be"

These are the "official" lyrics given by the band. You can find them anywhere on the internet. I would like everyone to go listen to this song and pay close attention, particularly to the second line where i've left two blank spaces. I wont say what I'm hearing in fear of offending. I just wanna see what everyone actually hears.

nuh uh. I generally dont listen to songs that closely. This sticks out like a sore thumb. this isnt one of those "play it backwards and you hear satan talking." Im hearing it clear as day what they're singing, and its not ticket.

You see, the problem with this thread is what you put in the first post. To make this close to a ture study you have to remove the official lyrics from the first post. Otherwise confirmation bias will apply to people who enter this thread who haven't listened to the song too closely.
I came into this thread, looked at the lyrics, played the song and heard those lyrics. Someone who doesn't know the lyrics may see something different. So, remove the lyrics from the first post and I'll remove them from the second and we can try a survey.
Edit: That's the ticket. Lets see what we come up with.

Its kind of hard to do that. See what I'm hearing can't actually be typed on this thread. If I tell what I'm hearing, I guarantee you'll hear it.

What you're hearing is a common deal in classic rock.

To me, they sound like they're saying "Season diggit" when "diggit" does sound like what the band says it is. You have to realize Bryan (or was it Bon?) had an accent that could of made his words sound like something else.

In Fire Woman by The Cult, on the Chorus, they sound like they're saying, "Money", but in reality, they're saying, "Honey".

I can't really describe it but music from the past is sometimes hard to understand because of the way the words are pronounced in the songs, more than likely to match the tune.

Or another one for my family is in the song by CCR-Bad moon on the right, to us it sounds like theres a bathroom on the right. Which I found funny as a kid.
