(I just remembered this from another forum)
I was in wales and saw trhis hill wiv loads of writing so being me I went to investigate, it turned out that it was all rocks!

So after many hours toil and slaving me (and dad) made this...

You need to work on your grammar, pal. "me made this"? Come on.

You guys went overkill on the thing. Nothing sticks out, so who the hell's going to bother to read your advertisement?
 
Those remind me of those spectators in the Tour de France who would put things in fields and on hils to spell out the Tour's name or to "draw" a bicycle. They make good helicopter shots
 
Hmm... I think all of the "writing" was already there, and Adam only made the "ADAMPOOLE.NET" bit, dead-centre of the shot.

Adam - it's "Dad and I made", not "Me and dad made". Fun grammar moment - if you can replace the group with "we", it's "(group) and I". If you can replace the group with "us", it's "(group) and me". "Us made" is nonsensical. "We made" isn't, so it's "Dad and I".

It's in Wales. You must know of it. There can't be that many hills in Wales, surely.... :dopey:

Okay, I was once corrected at work and now want to know whats the proper way.

1. Which is correct?
A. "Those are they."
B. "Those are them."

2. Which is correct?
A. "These are they."
B. "These are them."

Does it make a difference if you are talking about a person or an object?

And if you go to wales It will be there on that hill. This is not just some dumb photoshop gimmik its actually there (unless someone vandilised my vandilism :grumpy: )

Anyway Its somewhere in wales and that hills got be famous somewhere so I'm sure youll'e find it right???

If this is right, and it took hours to make, they must be made up of small rocks. How many rocks do you think it took, Adam? I think it's kinda cool, btw. :)

1st- No it's not very well known, no-one I know has heard of it.

2nd, if you are British I will think you are amazingly uncool. The way you say it's just somewhere in Wales is quite arrogant IMO.

I dunno, would that be vandalism? I mean...it seems to be a lot of people playing with a lot of rocks to me. And it doesn't seem to be hurting anything. I think it's kinda cool.


As far as grammar goes,
It would be "These are they."
You always use the subjective form after a "to be" verb.
Or, you can think of it as "They are these," as opposed to "Them are these."
