I started another 24h le mans in my McLaren f1, this time the race got wet.
I was in 3rd place, and past the 1st chicane on the Mulsanne straight, I was drafting off the LMP that was ahead of me, (I'm in cockpit mode and can't see s***) and as I was making my pass, I saw the first place car spun to a stop and the car that I was passing hit the other car and I slipped past!!
 
Yeah, that's real nice an all, but, what really is the point of this thread?

AI are idiots, anyone else had a time where AI made stupid mistakes on wet tracks that were really funny?

Before the AI were improved, on the dream car championship, the cars were crawling around the corners of La Sarthe at 20 miles per hour- I won the race using a Honda CR-Z

That happened to me, as well. It was a bit hilarious, but a bit disappointing at the time.
 
You finished one 24 hour race and you started a second one.. for fun? I can hardly sit through 2 hours in an endurance race, I get bored and go do something else. :lol:

I diddnt start it for fun, I need money and experience. Doing it in an inferior car adds fun, as well as racing wet.

Yes, I wanted to do a 10 lap race on Le Mans with my TZ2. By roughly the 7/8 lap, the track was still wet and it just started raining. The AI were on slicks (not rain slicks though), and I noticed a few of them spinning out on corners.

Definitely got a good laugh from that :sly:.

The seasonal races are better for money, and the Nurburgring 4 hour race is pretty fun and gives a good amount of XP.

I can't do seasonals and Nurburgring isnt challenging enough, I am on my toes for the entire race in the 24 heurs du mans.
