yea but you get it in your thighs... thus causing same problem it would in your wrist in your thighs.

I recently saw 3 mildly obese young women between the ages of 22 and 35, who had worn tight "low-rise" trousers (also called hiphuggers) over the previous 6 to 8 months.

Interesting. I think it's a rather broad suggestion that overweight women should not wear articles of clothing that exposes their gut. Next thing you know they'll have an article on the dangers of tube tops and baby doll tees. :D

These are the girls that shouldn't be wearing these type pants anyway! Maybe, just Maybe they will start thinking twice about wearing them now, and more men can do something better with their time insted of finding a corner to puke in after seeing one of these women.

My sexist comment of the day. ;)

Ya know... I was thinking, carpal tunnel is named after the bones in the wrist, the carpals. How could a hip disorder be named after wrist bones?:odd:

Well, the end result is the same, in that there is pressure on the nerves, but with carpal tunnel syndrome, what causes the pressure is actually swelling in the sheath around the tendons - with overdoing repetitive motions the sheath becomes inflamed, and this puts pressure on the nerves.

In the short to medium term, just stopping for a while will let the inflammation go down, but longer term the nerves can be become damaged, and you'll get permanent tingling and numbness - that's carpal tunnel sydrome.
