Historic Car?

I really need help with this, im trying to win the expert series B-spec historic race (specifically the cote de azure track) i can place 2nd but never first, ive used the jaguar XJK, the toyota 7 race car and the chaparelle 2J race car but i still cant beat the AI chaparelle 2J, can someone please let me borrow the car that won them this event?

You can borrow mine, but your bob has to be a hot driver, which you need to push....
 
There was a near perfect tune for the Toyota 7 Race car for the B-spec variant. But Outeke's will do.

And also hope doesn't crash into the barriers, and can definitely overtake swiftly. The Toyota 7 you have should be fine once you've worked up your driver...
 
Ok what car is it? Can you send a FR for some reason it wont work when i enter your name.
 
Yeah hes level 22 almost 23 but he'll hit the first barrier off the long curve at the bottom of the hill as well as the last corner barrier before the home straight:(.

A little tip (it worked for me): 💡

Restart the race as many times so that the AI 2J starts behind you, preferably below 9th place. My BOB won with this trick...👍

It took me a Level 30 driver to win on Cote d'Azur. It is genuinely the hardest race you encounter in B-Spec, I'm sure.
 
My psn is a riddle...it is actually my board nick... outeke :)

Yeah don't worry when it bumps the first corner, later in the race the AI slows down.
But also a good tip from cbarbosa, restart a few times to try to get the 2J behind you.

The car I can share is the 2J that I used to win this race.

Ok thanks to restart and change the grid positioning do i just press start restart or do i have to leave the event then reload it?

Unfortunaltely you have to leave and reload the event to change the grid position..:indiff:

I did this 3 times and got lucky, the 2J started in 12th:dopey:

Can share my tuned 2J (grip) so you can try it, send me a FR if you like:tup:
 
A very big thank you to Outeke and cbarbosa for your help, i started off with the AI 2J in 5th and by the final lap i had been pushing him along for half a lap -_-. My Bob finally decided to overtake 3/4 into the last lap.
