I'm thinking about making a historic cars ('60s) miniseries (4-5 races). Cars around 450 pp (Class B), in case of interest, a second class of cars a bit above 500 (Class A) may be added.
As real as it gets. All aids off (ABS off too, it wasn't used back in '60s), stock tyres (comfort soft for Class B and sports hard for Class A), no tuning, no aero, no rigifity improvement, just oil change.
Approximate race duration would be 30 - 45 minutes.
Tracks:
Cote d'Azur (3,34 km)
Circuito de Madrid (3,39 km)
Eiger Nordwand short track (2,44 km)
Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit (3,92 km)
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (3,60 km)
Anybody interested?
As for cars I'm thinking about these:
Class B (CS tyres):
Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto '61.......288 BHP / 960 kg / 461 pp
Alpine A110 1600S '72...............................144 BHP / 715 kg / 429 pp
Chevrolet Corvette stingray convertible '69...313 BHP / 1552 kg / 463 pp
Shelby (Mustang) GT350 '63.......................320 BHP / 1270 kg / 461 pp
------------------------
* Ferrari Dino 246 GT '71...........................201 BHP / 1080 kg / 420 pp
Class A (SH tyres):
Ford GT40 Mk I '66.....................371 BHP / 1070 kg / 529 pp
Shelby Cobra 427 '66..................508 BHP / 1068 kg / 543 pp
Lamborghini Countach LP400 '74....392 BHP / 1065 kg / 517 pp
Ferrari 365 GTB4 '71...................363 BHP / 1200 kg / 503 pp
* As for cars marked with a star I'm not still sure whether to include those or not. Dino will imho be slow compared to other cars in Class B and GTO would be too fast for Class A. What to you think?
