Historically accurate liveries, the older the better.

huff-
I would love to see any recreations you guys have done, I really like to make obscure liveries for the legends. I have done Prince Metternich’s Panamericana Mexico 356, and a DB3S that was raced in California around 1956 that was owned by a gentleman named Joe Lubin.

Indeed some nice work in here.
I personally could just repost most of my gallery here, but tbh it's just a click away

In 1953 Jaroslav Juhan campaigned a 550 coupe in the Mexico Panamericana, reimagined here as a spyder. Had to do the hood by hand with each letter it’s own decal. If anyone ever offers to convert an SVG for me I will improve it. This was the best I could do for now.

This is another original design that I made following the 917K Marlboro from earlier. Took inspiration from the McLaren F1 cars from the period, but also from an older 956 Marlboro from Team Joest.

Notice the Le Mans C1 sticker, I think it makes the car more grounded and provides a nice detail. As for drivers, went for a trio who actually drove some 962c in 1988: Derek Bell, Karl Ludwig and Mario Andretti.

I bought the 962 C and imported my Blaupunkt 1988 LM liveries last night. I'll get some pics of them tonight. So glad the BBS LM wheel centres can now be painted leaving the rims polished.

I found that most of the styles I had in mind for the 962c were already done quite well, so I searched out some others and found one that I had not seen in showcase. This is the 1989 Kremer Kenwood car, thanks to Speedhunters for the excellent reference photos. Btw all my liveries are hashtagged with the word “huff” on the off chance anyone wants them.

Yeah, people took advantage of the GTS import feature and everything is pretty much done replica-wise.

Man, no kidding. I can’t find a single one to do for the Nissan. I think I may do the Taka Q in more correct colors than the one available since I like it anyway.

Haven't seen a decent Senna livery for the Porsche yet, most of them have something that bothers me

I'm disappointed my Dunlop/Shell 962 didn't transfer across from GTS, but my Italiya 962 made the transition.

I had an issue with a 787b livery: it wouldn't transfer, the game would become unresponsive whenever I tried and I had to quit to the OS and boot it up again. Worked fine after the 1.12 update.
