I've been playing GTAIII for the past few weeks (to get 100% - started from scratch) and after i finally got it the other day i was a little disappointed that nothing happened once to 100% stat appeared.

But anywho on Friday i threw in Vice City and after about five minutes or so i turned it off again. I just can't play it now as it seems way crappier that GTA III.

I may not have been in the best of moods that day so i'll give the game one more chance. And my brother had just arrived home with the Mazda RX7 he had bought a couple of hours earlier so i wasn't really thinking straight.

Anyone else experience the 'i like the first one so much that i don't want to play the second' feeling?

I'm actually worried about the next GTA because I love the whole 80's miami thing. I'm not sure I'll enjoy the next one as much. But hey, onlky time will tell.

As to going to Vice, I can't help you because I don't see much in GTA3 anymore.

Vice City is a piece of ****. Grand Theft Auto is a game supposed to represent gangster life, no? I think Rockstar lost the plot with VC. You do little to no work for gangs (considering there is only 2 ) and the missions aren't as hands-on as GTA III. GTA III on the other hand looks and feels like a real gangster environment.

My diagnosis, you seemed to have recovered from the deadly VC > GTA III virus. Congrats! 👍

Neither game is remotely like a real gangster environment. They're video games. Vice City is a better game simply because it's got a bigger city, a wider variety of vehicles including motorbikes and choppers and more and better weapons. To say that Vice City is crap and that GTA3 is better because of how well they represent gangster life is a bit odd really.

VC is better, because I was born in 1977 and grew up with the music.

She Sells Sanctuary - hell yeah!

Yeah, um, there are a few more than two gangs...

I wouldn't call the PIG's gang because they dont hang around in "gangs" so to say...

'Fraid not Spuds. It's all make believe. You can't fly an assault helicopter, you haven't killed 400,000 people and you don't own a beautiful mansion. Sorry to break the news to you.
