Holden Racing Team is the factory team for Holden in the Australian V8 Supercars and is the most successful V8 Supercar racing team in history, having won the V8 Supercar championship 6 times, winning over 170 races and winning the Bathurst 1000 7 times.
For the 2004 V8 Supercar season Holden ran 3 factory backed Commodore VY's. The #2 (driven by Mark Skaife) and the #22 (Driven by Todd Kelly) would run the entire V8SC season while a third #05 car would be driven by Peter Brock and Jason Plato in the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000. Kelly finished 7th overall in the championship.
