By AMS performance, 764HP and it's faster than a Veyron!! Respect.
...although, I don't know if its transmission managed more than those two runs...;)

I love the AMS evos, but they dont have the fastest GTR in the world...

10.117 going up the hill in a closed road with 50 year old tarmac;) and going easy on 1st gear!

EDIT: 3.40

The GOTO:Racing GT-R is making around 850awhp and probably smokes either of those on 11" Hoosiers. But they wouldn't know, that car does corners.

My theoretical boat-engined GT-R would probably do Sixes with the right tune...It's all how many and the quality of parts you throw at it

Hmm i forgot about that one! But in the videos they say 700hp... maybe they have an upgrade now:)!

In what time zone is 10.117 faster than 9.89?

He's saying that if it was on a drag strip like the GTR in the video and not on 50 year old tarmac that was also going up hill, it would probably be as fast or faster than the AMS GTR.

That's what I got out of it.

But it wasnt so so far the AMS GTR is the fastest GTR.

A complaint you can level at any transmission not built to handle nearly twice the car's stock hp.

I don't think it'll be too bad... some hardcore draggers have gotten up to 100 launches on the stock transmission, doing 11's, on the drag-strip.

GT-R transmissions breaking at the 20-30 launch mark have bee mostly linked to abuse, not following warm-up and cool-down procedures, and wheel-hop when you turn VDC off. Mostly linked to abuse means that only some of the owners have admitted to it... and some have only been caught out on it (20 launches in the first month of ownership... done while flipping the warranty-void swithc? You don't say?).

Other partial causative factors include the aforementioned wheel-hop and the ultra-light transmission fluid Nissan uses to ensure low drivetrain losses. Most owners won't ever experience a failure, though, and a stock GT-R can still hit mid-11's with the VDC on, while maintaining full factory warranty.

I just looked at Brian Lock's facebook and the GOTO car is at 796hp on E85.

Edit: And if I remember right, that car weighs around 3400lbs now.
