ok well for a long while, ive been a BIG fan of games, such as many other people. but only console games. ive never really had a comp. good enough to play PC games on plus my internet wasnt fast enough to play online, so i stayed away from them. and ya i go to a school with laptops so ive played a couple through a LAN. mainly UT. untill last night. me and a couple of my friends went to the gaming center, "TGC" for short. a place where u pay 4 dollars an hour to use thier comps and play baisically any game in the world through single player or multi. and since that night ive grown a new love for video games. well we played Counter Strike, Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefeild. i think thats it. but it was great. i kicked so much ass at call of duty. everyone was giving me hell for being a newb. but after 5 minutes i was just as good or better than them. i know no one may care. but i just wanted to express my love for what you PC gamers have. i think i might fork out the money for a good PC and DSL, retire my controller, and pick up a mouse. FPS's are so much better on PC Than console. well. whatever.
 
Hey if you go back, see if they have Americas Army. It's the game they use to train the troops with, supposedly a very realistic army shooter. If they do, try it out and pm me with your thoughts on it. I've been thinking about downloading it from their site but don't know if it's worth it.
 
Americas Army is worht the downlaod if you've got a half decent comp that can run it. I dont think they used it to train troops, the game was made to recruit new people into the army and show them all the good stuff you can do in it.
 
ill probably go back this week. ill see if they have ameriacs army. im sure they do. they have baisically every game imaginable. ya i was wanting to try UT 04 but ive gotten kinda sick of the unrealness of UT.

Aren't you tired of hiding in foxholes already? I know i am.

The UT2004 demo is in my sig. I doubt too many people are still playing it online, though. Try it out anyway. :)
 
Keyboard + Mouse is the best gaming combination if you ask me. If you're going to game heaps though, get yourself an optical mouse - those rollerball ones are absolute **** for FPS games. :irked:

The only thing I hate about PC gaming is technology moves so fast. My GeForce 4 is already outdated.

when i play call of duty most people like to hide and snipe. i dont i just walk out and start shooting. i do just as good or better than the snipers. but i also snipe when i have too.
