The only problems is:
I know all of you young dudes will say: RTFM - read the freaking manual...I am an old fart 58 yo and probably lost the plot but bought near new G25 of web but with no instructions nor disks. I built this set up.
Questions:
1 How do I set up steering on PS2/GT4? G25 does not appears on option set up. Other steering wheels do but no G25.. By this I mean how do I set steering damping (faster or slower) and calibration?
2 What are the 4 red buttons on shifter?
3 How do I set up the handbrake? Ideally I would like ti use the red button on right on steering wheel....I don't use PC windows box. PS2 only.
4 Is there disks I can download for PS2 set up?
5 what does the right red button on steering wheel do as default? Tried but nothing appears. Or am I that stupid? come on you can say so!

Thank you for your help

No, we're all going to tell you to post in the right place, I'm surprised no one has said something yet.

This should have been posted HERE.

Buttons for the G25 wheel and PS3

Top 4 The Black ones
Top-triangle-cancel-reverse(gear to back car up)
Left-square-cancel
Right-circle-E_brake
Bottom-X-enter You can also use the gas pedal for enter

Bottom 4 buttons The Red ones
Far left-no function
Second button-Change view
Third button-Pause-quick exit replay at the end of race-This button will also speed up the winnings (to keep from waiting with the cup spinning around so you can get back to racing)
Fourth button-best race line for license test

Buttons on wheel

Left-look back (default)
Right-nitro (default)
I change these two buttons around myself so I have the nitro on the left.

D-pad-same as the controller up,down, left, right. For menue use.
Also for (during race)
Look back-bottom pad
Look left-left pad
Look right-right pad

To change any of the button functions use the DFP settings in the options menue.
I have not used the wheel in photo mode. The only thing you can't do with the wheel is "exit" game. I also never have my controller on during gameplay I only turn it on to exit the game. If anyone needs anymore help with this wheel give me a shout-back and I'll try my best to help.
One last thing make sure your wheel is in the far left port(port 1) or port 3

Hope this is helpful,
opelgt

Hope this helps you this should be the same on the PS2.

now I know what the buttons do!
I really like to change e/brake to left button on steering wheel. I don't have a set up for G25 on PS2

Thanks Loon...Told you I lost the plot! now how do we mode this folder to the correct one?

And by the way, OpelGT1969: This was a magnificent looking car, still gorgeous today! A mate of mine had a yellow one in Morocco fitted with proper Minilites. Looks stunning.

First I'm old too 51:guilty: Go to the "options" menu and use the DFP (driving force pro) settings click on that wheel and change the settings the way you want them. You might want to write down the default settings first so when you change something you will know what you changed. You might want to print the above post I made. Hope this helps. Your welcome to PM me if you need more help.

To move this thread click on (Thread tools) on top right and move to steering wheel thread you or a (mod) are the only people that can move a thread you start.
