Homepage update

Love the site, it's very good. But one thing has always interested me... Why isn't the gtplanet.net page updated regularly? Even once a month would make a nice change. Maybe some confirmed gt4 info, some related headlines of some kind etc. I know it's not easy because you have to cater for everyone and everyone wants something different, but it'd be good to see an update now and then
 
If I'm correct theres always more stuff to do on the Forums than on the actual site ;).

Plus. There is no need for like a major redesign of the layout. I like it the way it is.
 
Where did i mention a major redesign? So long as you like it then that's fine? I just thought it'd be nice to see something different for a change

Yeah I know. :) Have you Tried GTP Lite for the Forums?
 
No not yet, i thought that just made everything quicker by removing stuff? I guess i'll have to close my eyes everytime i get to the homepage and moved swiftly onto the forums.

Does anyone even remotely agree with me though?
 
He has a new webserver now, what else could he be doing? :p He might be getting ready to transfer GTP over to the new server as far as we know. :p
 
It would be a good idea...because it gets kind of boring coming and seeing the same thing everyday on the main page...:p Maybe have a little news thing, get a few people to try and find out some information (Maybe one or two members who could be dedicated to finding all the info they can), but since he has just got that new server, I dunno...:|
 
I know, I know. I've got a lot of things going on in my personal life right now that take up a lot of my free time. Moving to a new server while still taking care of people's issues, problems, and requests, unfortunately forces me to place updating the main site on the back burner. I just have to set prioritites. I agree, however, it is long overdue for an update.

We'll when you click the "new posts" botton right. I have that in my favourites so everytime I click GTP Forums in my favourites. Usually I do visit the homepage for videos updates ;).

BTW: Jordan, Do you have a GTP6 Buzzing in your mind? Or is that for Christmas.:)

It's funny, I havent'
seen the main page but once in likely 6 months. I use Auto-complete and type GTPlanet in my address bar. Then Autocomplete brings up the foums, and I've memorized the numbers of the ones I visit. (that may say that I spend too much time here...)

Exactly. I can't name any forums. That are at this level of Cleaniness, well managed, So big in size, Great Layouted. :)
