Homepage wont change?

WARNING: Dont clikc this link, its juust there to see if anyone has encountered this before.

No matter how many times ive tried, it wont change back to my original home page, internet options wont accept it i guess.
How do i change it back?

Did you scan with adaware or spybot? Could be spyware prog or something thats preventing it from being changed.
 
Yeah, it's spyware.

Just to note, I clicked on the link. It didn't do anything to my Homepage or anything else. You got the spyware from somewhere else or your browser security is too low.

Go into your BIOS, set your cd-rom drive as your boot drive, and insert your XP cd. you should be able to format your drive using the disk utility on the disc. Either that or you do it through the BIOS. Just make sure you have everything backed up first before you reformat.

Eh? All he had to do is insert the CD and restart. It will ask him on boot up whether he wants to enter the Windows setup. About halfway through the setup it asks you to format...

For someone that can't even recognize spyware, I think the registry is a bit dangerous...:ouch:

I agree 100%, but I walk these type of people through it on a daily basis :D

That's what I was referring to. I wasn't sure since I couldn't remember exactly how XP setup does that.
