Honda S800 '66 and Honda S800 RSC Race Car '68 at Driving Park - Motorland, Forward and Reverse

Race Specifics
- Arcade Mode Time Trial - hotlaps
- Power: +20% (81 HP for the road car; 116 HP for the race car)
- Weight: -10% (648 kg for the road car; 594 kg for the race car)
- Tire Type: Economy for the road car, Racing Super Hard for the race car
- Driving aids, transmission mode, and top speed setting (for the race car) are open.
- This week, you will race one car on the forward track and the other on the reverse track. What is up to you is whether you race the road car on the forward track and race car on the reverse, or the race car on the forward track and the road car on the reverse. Try both possibilities, add up the two times in each combination, and see which gives you a faster total time.
- Standard OLR cleanliness rules apply: Two wheels must be in contact with the track at all times; rumble strips and tarmac behind white lines are part of the track; no contact with walls allowed at any time.
- Please PM me your final time in each car, and on which track each time was recorded, by Tuesday September 8 by 11:59 pm GMT (world clock).
Series Information and General Rules
- All six races will be run in Arcade Mode and each will last one week, with a submission deadline of Tuesday at 11:59 PM GMT.
- The cars used will be a variety of Hondas, mostly road cars on standard (N) tires, but with race cars appearing as well. Make sure you have all Hondas, used and new, unlocked in Arcade Mode, because few of the cars I will use are available from the beginning.
- Standard OLR cleanliness rules apply: Two wheels must be in contact with the track at all times; rumble strips are part of the track; no contact with walls allowed at any time.
- Becase Motorland has no split times, you may discuss your lap times, but only the number of seconds, not the number of tenths, for each car. For example, if your two laps are 35.286 seconds and 49.992 seconds, post them only as 35 and 49 seconds, respectively. Also, do not discuss, even vaguely, the amount by which you improved, e.g. "I shaved half a second and now have a 35;" however, you may state the simple fact that you improved. You may also discuss the race car's top speed setting, as well as which car you use on the forward track and which car you use on the reverse track. Exact final times are not to be discussed and must be submitted to me by PM before the week's deadline, along with which car you used on which track.
- Please save your best lap replay just in case I request proof, which is unlikely but possible. Generally, no proof will be necessary for the winner or for anyone else; however, I reserve the right to request a photo of a time if I am suspicious of it.
- Each race will award points towards the overall championship standings to all who submit a clean lap/race time, with the winner receiving 10 points, second place 8, third place 6, and fourth on down each separated by 1 point (5, 4, 3, etc.). No points will be awarded to a non-submitting driver. You do not have to announce your participation in the championship beforehand: anyone may participate in a race and be counted into the championship points, even if you do not plan on running all the races; similarly, there is no obligation to participate in every race. The driver with the most points at the end of the six races will win the championship.
These two cars are "pocket rockets," and I chose the track accordingly. Motorland seems simple, but offers several possible lines, and the cars each pose unique challenges, as well. Not only that, but you have four possible car and track combinations to practice! Please note the extra rules in place for this week, and don't hesitate to ask for clarification if something doesn't make sense to you. I know it seems complicated, but once you understand what to do, I think this week will be quite an enjoyable challenge. Have fun!
