The Honda N-ONE is a kei car produced by Honda for the Japanese market. It was previewed at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show and went on sale on November 1st, 2012. Together with the Honda N-Box, it is part of a renewed lineup of 'kei' class city cars.
It features styling reminiscent of the Honda N360 of 1969-1972, and incorporates Honda's newest DOHC 3 cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission launched in 2011 with the N-Box. It is marketed as a premium vehicle and incorporates standard features uncommon for its class.
Its main rival seems to be the Fiat 500 and yes, in case you're wondering, there is a Mugen version, with a flashy bodykit and sport suspensions and exhaust.
I believe it would be interesting to add a recent and quite unique compact Honda to the already quite rich line up of k-cars present in Gran Turismo. Its three-cylinder 660 cc engine may not be the most powerful on the market (with an output limited to 63 hp) but it makes up for it with its gruff sound; and the high-revving motorcycle-like engine and CVT transmission combination makes it a fun, if slow, ride.
Besides, it's adorable.
