Honda is a rather popular make of car. The GTP users ~SP33~ Mugenvtec and I think it would be a good idea to make a special forum along the lines of the nissan and mazda forums. I have asked kent and he says he will support it. Is there anyone else here that would support having a Honda power zone?

I would have to say no because I don't see a need for sub sections for auto makers. I mean I would like a GM only section where I could post all the news I find out about, but I know thats not going to happen. I don't even know why we have a Mazda and Nissan forum honestly, I don't think they are needed.

The Mazda and Nissan subfora grew out of a pair of enthusiast clubs for those two makes. At the time they were created, they were fairly large, active groups. As you can see, however, there is not much activity there these days.

Jordan will make the decision, of course, but I do not think he will be adding any new specific-make forums.

As Duke said, I had good reasons for creating those other forums, but soon I will probably dissolve those forums back into "Cars in General". So, I don't have many reasons to add yet another new sub-forum.

Well,
At least you tried "ed."

Sorry it turned out as it has.

I must admit, "the ed" came to me in a PM about this and I suggested that he take it to the Suggestions/ Feedback forum.
(I suppose that was the best thing to do since the only alternative would have been to step out of my rank and give him info that I am not qualified to decide on).

In any case, I can understand why a new forum would not happen.

Like wise, I can suggest an alternative. 👍

Maybe when the sub-forums are dissolved we could make a "general honda" thread. 👍

If interest is high and stays that way it may eventually earn a sticky status.

True, a thread in place of a forum isn't exactly what was hoped for, but atleast it's something and atleast the higher-ups listened and gave reasonable responses.

So basically...
Go make a honda club thread. 👍
If it stays around long enough and is active enough I am sure the mods will consider making it a sticky thread. 👍

As for nissan, toyota, and mazda?
I don't know if there is a tuner sub-culture support base for those in the same way as honda.

I actually just wanted to make a thread but I asked on behalf of the other listed members that wanted a forum for it. Thanks for the feedback on the subject. I will create a honda thread.

I'm sorry if i put you on the spot Kent. I went to you first because you seem like a friendly person.

Well thanks and don't worry about "putting me on the spot."

You didn't. 👍

I'm happy to help members and that's what the mod position is all about (well, half the time :trouble:  ).

Thanks for coming to me about the problem, reminds me that I actually serve a purpose here. ;)

The dead has been done.

I was thinking to myself, is that some smart-ass reply about my dead-head title?

Then I realized you meant "deed."

For a minute there I thought another dead-head was on the board. :ouch:
Would be nice to have a dead club too but it seems not many people are into the dead these days. :(

Btw, glad to see you did the deed.

sorry about getting your hopes up. I guess I should have given that another read for spelling errors :guilty:

I missed out on the greatfull dead era if thats what you mean.

Btw, glad to see you did the deed.

yep, I did the deed alllll night long...

At the time Mazda and Nissan had huge discussions (much bigger than any current Honda discussions in my opinion) but once they were put in a sub forum it all wore off, it seems many members dont bother going in sub forums much. Now GM seems to be the hot automaker to be discussed.

My guess is if a Honda sub foum was made it would be dead in no time, although sub forums usually keeps topic fairly peaceful, where the members that like to argue unnessarily dont really bother with.

Hence why I wanted a GM forum, I could fill that thing with a ton of information since I got all the inside hook ups. Well I would give as much as was deemed nessacery.
