Honest question about Skyline R34 vs Viper in Drag Race

Is it really rare for a skyline to beat a Viper in a drag race? I was playing just now and I got the boot from a lobby and got accused of hacking for just beating it for a few feet. Less than 3 actually.

Well, it depends. Was it an R34 or R35? An R35 shouldn't have too much trouble. R34 is a little embarrasing IMO.

I was using the Nür II R34. I heard that it's a bit faster than a standard R35.
 
Maybe the person didn't tune the Viper very well.

I beat an M5 in a MR2 GT-S.

It's very rare for a R34 to beat a Viper. Your tune must be godly perfect. My Viper owned a R35 Black Edition so Congratz :)

Thank you. ^.^ This tune was one I found here but I went from there edited to my liking. I normally do this so I can have something to build upon. I'm not very good tuning so at least if I have a skeleton I can manage to do ok!
