Rule the open road
From the breezy back country to the frenzied mean streets, Forza Horizon 2 gets you behind the wheel for an open-world racing adventure like no other. Challenge your friends or go solo as you tear it up on the roads of southern Europe, plow through fields and forests in California, or smash down fences on the dirt trails in Australia. Your road, your rules.

If true, this is going to be one hell of a game.

Update 9/26: Looks like they updated it now.

Challenge your friends or go solo as you smash through fences onto back country dirt trails, plow through fields and forests, and discover new shortcuts on your high-speed adventures. Your road, your rules.

Someone on the official forums claims a Sales Specialist confirmed it. Funny they can reveal the information as true, but not why T10 won't.

Taking with a huge grain of salt, but I've passed it along to Badned.

Yeah I think if this game was to have Australia and California playable at launch, as well as Italy/France, then we would have heard about it by now! As DLC however? Still extremely unlikely, although didn't Ralph Fulton say there would be a "new experience" through DLC?

Except this is the Microsoft store saying it.

If this isn't a mistake it's gonna be a post release addition.

Funny because the specialist claimed it ships with the retail game....

I'll believe it when I see it.
Edit*
Yeah, just as I thought. Ralph confirmed on Twitter its obviously not real.

The best attitude to have.

Just bear in mind though that this is quite a credible source
It's not. The store has terms at the bottom that discloses what you read may not be representative in the final copy of the games.

And if you see my edit, it certainly has none compared to the developer himself.

Hence I said "quite"

Oh well nvm

Not sure what quite has anything to do with it since that implied a large amount of credibility, but ok.

Maybe they meant that if you play the game in Cali or Australia you can plow through fields and smash fences in Southern Europe.
I'm in luck! Sorry for the rest of the world, minus Australia of course.

Odd restrictions, but I assume PG, T10 and MS all know what they're doing.

Maybe the hapless adwriters didn't mean it as a restriction but as examples of how you can play the game (and where).

MS are the ones responsible for the restrictions with their staggered international rollout of the console.
