Horn Button - G25 - only GTDFP

Has anyone figured out how to assign a horn button to G25 or joypad yet?

it seems that assignment option is not available from the joypad and dfp key assignment screens? is this true? i only have the japanese version but from what i can tell it is not there.

maybe this horn feature is only avail to GTDFP wheel?

i know the new gt wheel has a horn beep button in the middle of the wheel. maybe that is its selling point. it can beep people while no one else can unless they have that wheel. marketing strategies i tell you
 
so if u have the wheel online u can contantly honk your horn at other boy-racers if they try to block your path?

are you sure this a horn button not RA features ? :D

no "horn" (ホーン) inthere -wheel's official website-, where did you heard about this April Fools Day joke ?



there is no honk in GT5P's key assign anyway, there is no need for it when driving the F2007 :cool:
 
May be when US version comes out, Japan and Europe will get a Patch update for that?
Over GameStop It says that the new GT wheel is already available?
 
Napoleon_Ist, what about that big bouton in the middle of the wheel ? I read about the horn days or maybe weeks before april's fool day joke.

this is for RA, this feature was added in Spec II, check the link i've posted on the previous message.

i have this RA feature on my DS3's d-pad, just use "key assign" to use it without the wheel.

i use X to activate RA, up/down arrow for RA selection, and left/right to adjust. :)

Kazunori Yamauchi uses the red button in this video.

this is not "emergency eject" either ! :D
 
I'm talking about the big button in the center with the GT logo on it. (I know it's not just a logo but a real button because i read it somewhere and because you can see that button in the assignement menu of gt5 prologue)

ok, I don't know about this one, I'm gonna check Logitech's US site for that. there's nothing in the Japanese site.

EDIT: done, there's nothing about this in the US site. :)

are you sure this is not just a big fat logo like in the previous Japanese wheels? they have always used a disgrateful Logitech logo in the western wheels (by Logitech) and a classy GT logo on the Japanese wheels (by Logicool).

now the GT logo is just coming to the west... this is no big deal! :D

you can see this big fat logo in spec II yes dude, but that's all, you can't assign function to it (just like for the PS Home button).

forget about horn lads, this is just the big fat Japanese GT logo coming to the western wheels. ;)

Only buttons are in the assignement menus, have you seen any other logos for other wheels in this menu ? Maybe we can not assign it yet (specII version) or maybe it's locked, only available for this wheel.

no logo, but what about the "PS Home" button ? you can't select it neither.

Possible, the BIG Autumn update er? ;)

Or maybe this is just another last minute surprise, they would have removed this function since the press release, they really like this kind of tricks these days...
