Horn sounds

I have looked everywhere I can find, and tried everything I can think of but I can't get the horn sounds to play when in my items list. The work fine on a car, but I can't hear them when trying "current sound" or "new sound" in the items list....any help appreciated.

Just checked the "Current sound" and "Sound after fitting" buttons and they're working fine for me (Spec 2)

Hold X down for a second, don't just tap.
 
Maybe you're in a car that doesn't have a horn? Like Nascar or something?
