Hands slowly progressing. Not much more movement. I can wiggle a few of them, but I still have no feeling and can't pick anything up but a slip of paper.

Just thought it was interesting. I can drive to this location in like 30 seconds. People were everywhere, cops especially. SWAT team command centers and lots and lots of blue lights.

That totally sucks. The last time we had cops here was a few months ago when a burglar got his ass ripped apart (literally) by the K-9 unit. The closest we've had to something like this is a murder-suicide, though. :( My mom and I really liked the lady who was killed by her boyfriend/husband. Both happened within about 20 seconds of walking from my house.
 
Wouldn't that suck if you got shot in your other hand? What a bitch that'd be. Getting shot anywhere would be bad, but you know how crap tends to happen the way it shouldn't have. :lol:

My freshman year, a lady in the school office was murdered by her husband before turning the gun on himself. One of their kids was a senior at the time. It was a bad time for the whole school for a while, everyone loved her.

If I got shot in my good hand, I'd be so incredibly pissed. I'd just be waiting then for the next freak accident to occur in my raincloud followed existence.
 
Well, fortunately you weren't in the area of the standoff. Hopefully the ol' hand is the last injury you have to suffer. That'll cover just about all the injuries I've had my whole life, and then some.
