Hosting renewed

It's the first day of Feburary, and bandwidth got reset. The hosting service got back up, and I've only deleted most of the vid from GTPDC week 5. HOWEVER, I need the disk storage to be less than 60% by next week. Right now it's at 90%. If anyone of you has uploaded vids before and feel the need to support this poor, lonely individual, now is your chance to backup, backup, BACKUP, and finally delete your 'vids of nostalgia'.

BTW, when naming files, it'd be real helpful if one can include their GTP username. Makes life easier for all of us.

if your going to get web space, my recommendations are Globat, and HostRocket which is $9.95 a month 1gig of space, and Globat is $6.95 a month for 2 GB. I cannnot give a good comment on Globat, I never had their service, I DO have hostrocket, and their service is rock solid. You get lots of other goodies w/ their service though like php mysqlDB's ROLLOVER bandwidth.. which is like the best feature.

19xx and myself both use ipowerweb.com and they're very good too. Only 500MB of space but don't worry it's not the space you'll be worrying about, it's the bandwidth. It depends on how long you pre-pay for, but you can get it as low as $6.95/mo for 30GB/mo of bandwidth. If we had three or four people providing that service, then everyone could easily share videos freely I think.

Hmmm.. Im on for one account.. I could need like.. Eight MB for a website-thing but thats it, the rest would be used as GTP-vid hosting.

I'm sure I speak for the majority of members here when I say "Nice going" Finding a host is like one of the biggest problems here.. especially with the influx of vids lately..
