Does anybody else think there should be more of them in the game? I for one would have loved the new Renault Megane RS, the Clio RS, Opel Corsa OPC, Opel Astra OPC... These are cars most of the people here could one day own. I am also amazed that the manufacturers didnt push for such cars to be in the game. Beacause games are for kids which are future adults and thereby potential customers.
Please post your honest opinions and also state which hot hatch you miss in the game.
 
i want the 80s hot hatches in the game , renault 5 gt turbo , escort rs turbo , mk2 golf gti , peugout 205 gti and would love to see mk1 and mk2 escorts

I the future when kids grown-up and have a drivers-license there are othere cars for them so no. it are not costumers.

but i get your point. I am happy whit the car-list. but some more road cars from between 2006' & 2010' could't hurt.

I'm 19 and insurance on a 2000 1.0 clio is about £4000, any car newer, more powerful, bigger, etc etc etc. would break more than my bank.

I think there should of been more hot hatches, nothing too boring, but some nice sporty hatches. It's weird that their isn't even the newish shape clio in there.

No the point is brand recognition and knowing the brand from a young age. And by kids i also ment all those people who are 15-18 and dont have a license yet. But even elder people who can already afford such cars and play GT5 are/would/could be influenced.

Yes, I too was puzzled by the lack of hot hatches in the game. It would've been fun to drive a Vauxhall Astra VXR or Golf GTI MK.VI in a head-to-head race. There does seem to still be a bias towards Japanese cars, many iconic European and American cars were left out. Hopefully PD will include more EU and US cars in DLC or GT6.
 
Also cars like the Fiat 500 abarth and its versions, the Renault Twingo RS and these mini hot hatches were left out. Oh and if there are any hot hatch owners please feel free to comment on your real life and in game car (mostly refering to Golf GTI and Ford Focus ST owners)
 
Well just wanted to remind you guys that there are 10 different Toyota Yarises(witz) in the game and some really cool cars were left out.
 
I want Seat Leon Cupra R, Ibiza Cupra, Bocanegra, Volkswagen Scirocco R, Volkswagen Golf R, Renault Megane Coupe GT, Renault Clio Gordini R.S, etc, Fiat Punto Evo Abarth and Fiat 500 abarth, and much more ..

Poliphony Digital only bothers putting Toyotas Yaris in this game the rest is forgotten..

I'd leave the Twingo out just because of its drunk-sounding name. The new Focus RS500 would be a blast to drive though.

x2 for this... There must be over 75 R34s/GT-Rs in the game... And how many variants of the NSX?

I was actually really hoping for the Fiat 500 Arbath, since they're supposed to be coming to the US this year (at least the 500, not necessarily the Arbath edition) and it looked like such a blast on Top Gear...
 
Yeh, I'm disappointed that my 2007 Honda Civic Type R (FN2) model is not in the game... :ouch:

I was hoping for a few more.
 
The hatch I miss the most is the Pulsar/Sunny GTi-R, it was in GT2 but never seen again.
 
By the way, the Bugatti Veyron is classified as a hot hatch. What the?
 
I'm stunned they call VW Lupo a hot hatch, but not VW Golf!?!?!?

Do PD know anything about cars really?

The know a lot about Japanese cars, it would seem. it's slightly galling to look at the car list and see 16 versions of the NSX (plus 10 racing models), 11 Civics, 12 Mx-5 / Eunos' and 17 (!!) Rx-7's and almost no European hot hatches / sports cars.

When you look at sales, they're not too disimilar across Japan, Eu and NA so you would have thought they'd tailor the car list to be a bit more universal.
 
I kinda missed cars like Citroen Saxo VTS, that used to be one of my favorite FWD in GT2. And I was also hoping for cars like Renault Sport Clio and some of the newer Europe Hot Hatches, or the old Clio Williams...

I used my Ferarri 512 to A-Spec the hot hatch races and a Masaratti Gran Tursimo in B-Spec (I think). Not exactly what I'd call ~"hot hatches"
 
These manufacturers should want to get there cars into the game, and should push PD to get them in.

I bought a Mitsubishi 3000GT mainly from driving it so much in Gran Turismo 1 and 2.

Then eventually I bought a Mazda RX-8 because I like Japanese sports cars now.

what color is yours?
mine's milano red on black ce28 time attacks, which is doable in gt5 if they made it a premium =P
 
I d love 2 see Opel/Vauxhall OPC line(corsa,astra,vectra,no matter)

golf 6 R32 and GTI as well

I think PD hasn't added theese cauze of lack of interest, there's a LOOOT of FWD under 200hp cars in GT,which are just ordinary,but it is not interesting driving theese slowpokes.(in comparison with corvettes,ferraris,even RUF's)
hey,PD just can't add every one existing car,just for fun.
 
As a Golf Mk4 owner (and previous owner of Golfs from 1 to 3) and VW fan I have to say ...

Where is ...
- the Corrado, as staple of VW history
- the Scirocco, the old one at least, and the new one would be a good Ad for VW, why ?
- the Mk2 Rally Edition
- the Golf Country, strange but lovely and funny to drive for sure
- the Golf Caddy, could even do it's part and come in last at the pickup race
- the Mk6 ? is was long out before GT5 came, also would have brought VW a lot of attention from younger people
- the R32, is sadly not premium, as is the Mk1 GTI (at least they are in there)

sad ...

BUT the Mk4 is premium and the Mk1 is in, yey ! (and that strange HPA Sema R32 semi racing show off crappy handling thing ...)

most of them would be considered hot hatches i believe ...
GT5 thinks, everything built in europe is a hot hatch ..., go Veyron go
