same kinda reaction i had

I like the idea of new tracks for the bike game. Maybe now I can get my ass on Assen.

A couple of new tracks will be added to those of GT4, but by and large it will feature the same circuits as GT4. Is this a bad thing? Absolutely not, as the track homogeny will allow online play between the two games, letting bikes and cars go at it head to (cylinder) head...

I gotta see that. :D
Might as well make a few point to point rally stages and we'll have our own little Dakar.

ummm i guess it would be interesting to see... head to helmet lol:rolleyes: i kno i kno im boring

I hope they don't allow you to merge the two games, bikes and cars racing head to head is a bad thing in a sim. I doubt it will be called Gran Turismo bikes as well as Gran Turismo is a term for cars not bikes, PD will come up with a good name for it.

I'm going to call BS on this. How in the world would they know about a mini-game that will apparently come out AFTER GT4 when we don't even have too much information on GT4 itself?

well...maybe they a jypsies and can see into the future?

How old's this rumour!

Believe it when I see it.

Funny how some websites keep dragging up this old news which was all started at a GT4 test day when a couple of bikes hit the track.

Sony Computer Entertainment reps have completely denied the rumor.

Well I do rememebr them denying the rumor about bikes being in GT4 but never another game, heck who knows maybe they will make a bike game but time could only tell, maybe im wrong but if i am then someone could correct me :)

Um....I dont understand this but if anyone does please translate it for me and everyone that wants to know more.

This pic was also on the same page....

It pretty much translates to everything that english website had. I'm not spanish, but being italian I understood pretty much all of it. They also add that the info was taken from a magazine called "digital Spong", and that the release for the motorcycle only game would be for the Xmas period of 2005. ( sometime between GT4 and GT5 )

To me this is all speculation.

The creators of Gran turismo (Polyphony Digital) could be developing a motorcycle game based on the principle ideas of Gran Turismo.

The test to different bykes at the latest Susuka grand prizing of the motorcycle world has pointed out of a possible incursion of motorcycles in Gran Turismo 4, but it seems that there where more than one hundred motorcycles tested.

Sources at the magazine "digital Spong" say that, Polyphony Digital is working in the development of another game title related to motorcycles completly independent of Gran Turismo 4. The possible project is ment to bring the escence of Gran Turismo to the world of motorcycles, as a mater of fact, deals have been made already with well known manufacturers like (Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Aprilia, Suzuki, Harley Davidson, etc)

There has not been any oficial confirmation, but the magazine also states Gran Turismo Bikes could be seen as soon as christmas 2005 between GT4 and GT5.

I tryed my best to translate, sadly my translation may need to be translated as I maight have written plenty of gramatical mistakes, I hope that those of you who wanted to understand the totality of the article now do.
My opinion is that tha game could be the next challenge that Polyphony has set for themselves for the PS3.

Just hope they remember their promise and include the mighty 1991 Kawasaki ZXR750R :grumpy:

What about cars pumbling the crap out of the bikes?
Or was that already mentioned? I didn't read the longer posts sorry. ME lazy!

as long as you can punch the other guys off their bikes, turn around and V-sign and tag their rear wheel I'm all for a bike version. Do you think they could race against the 'Pods'?

Although road rage would be a fun addition, that's drifting away from the point of the GT series. you were probably j\k though.

gt with bikes? :P

*slaps £5 down*

"bet its crappy"

sorry but the only bike game that I found playable was moto gp 2

moto gp2 was quite enjoyable. The graphciks were  on XBox.
I had fun playing even the demo at Best Buy.

Anyway, I bet PD will do a good job with this. They'll find a good way to correctly simulate motorcycle racing. Can't wait!

Yes, very true.

And didn't PD or Sony deny the "rumor" that F1 cars were going to be in GT3 before it came out? And look what we got!

Maybe this bike stuff is for this secrete new racing game called Avalon I've been reading so much about? It's set to be a launch day game title for the PS3.

Lets hope to god there are no bikes in GT4. I don't think they will be in though anyway.
