So yesterday I made a new hotmail account because I get nothing but SPAM out the ass on my viperconcept account. It seems the more addresses you block, the more SPAM you get. So I tried making a new one only to find that you now have to pay $19.95 a year to have a hotmail account. I just thought I would let you people know. This pisses me off. Anyway, if anyone knows a of a good free place to get an email account please share, I need one badly and I will be damned if I ever use my viperconcept account at hotmail. :mad:
 
I should say I am asking out of concern. So any that may display "boo hoo" sarcasm, that's not my intent. Just stating.
 
Never thought of the boo hoo thought Talentless. Everyone can say I am because I am! No, it will not effect older users to my knowledge. My brother has hotmail and nothing has said he has to pay. My vc account never said I had to pay. So I guess if you already have an account your in the clear.
 
Humm i dont know about the paying crap but i sure as hell do need something to kill my spam. 189 new e-mails. 4 days worth. Gosh i hate HOTspamMail. :mad:
 
Pfeeww, I admit this with a heavy heart: I need my hotmail account! Now how sad is that? :(
 
I was surprised by this thread, ready to reply that hotmail/msn is a pretty good service and well worth $20 for all the use it provides me with.
Well, I went through the process for a little look see because I've been planning to get a second account because I want to list an e-mail on Gamefaqs (but don't want to give out my ISP e-mail or my current hotmail for fear of clogging my account with people I don't particularly wish to have a dialogue with)
And my conclusion is that it is still free, but you have to be smart enough to figure it out. Too bad for you eh? :rolleyes:

The moral of this story is... Learn to READ.
 
It has always been free for the regular account, and $19.95 for the larger accounts...
 
Hey now, I was trying to get my account and it wanted $19.95 But, after it says that part, I can not see anywhere where I can go to get to my inbox. I can not get past the "billing" forms and crap. I am stupid people, thank you for pointing that out. Since you can point that much out, please point out for me where to go.

Thank you Pako and thank you Josh. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you two for not being total asses. All I needed was some help. Glad to see I can get some with out being made out to be an idiot.

well its VC's fault for not reading......
& yup josh was right its been like that for i think about 6 months where the 2mb option is very small but hotmail is still free
reading also helps......
