There's a lot of firefox users here so I figured this would be the best place to ask. I made a permanent switch to it a few days ago and so far i'm loving Firefox... but here's my problem. As of 2 hours ago, I was completely unable to even touch my hotmail inbox. I just get a blank screen every time I try.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Google isn't turning up much that I can make use of - other than the fact that a lot of people have had this same issue.

Best solution i can find is to recreate my profile. That would be extremely inconvenient right now because of my firefox setup right now.

IE works just fine... it's just that my firefox is being screwy all of a sudden.

edit:
found the fix:
type about:config into the browser
then set the value of browser.xul.error_pages.enabled to true - then just restart the browser

Hmm i've been running Firefox forever (not literally) and Hotmail has always loaded. A strange problem, but thanks for the fix.

If they did it intentionally that would be just plain dumb. Can you imagine the number of people who have Windows machines at home but are forced to use a *nix machine sometimes (at work, etc.)? All these poeple would no longer use Hotmail, because, well, they just couldn't.

Unless Microsoft made an IE for *nix systems. Like that's ever going to happen.

Actually they did package it for Solaris. The way it functioned was to load an entire emulator into memory, similar to a WINE setup, then launch the Windows version of IE. My friends said it took about 150MB of memory to run IE. Ha ha!

I don't want to make a new thread so here the question...

About a couple of days ago all gif animations wont work, in my Fire Fox 1.0. Any one know what the problem is?
