How about categories of cars, such as in PGR2? Examples are as follows.

Yeah, but knowing PD....they could put a car somewhere else...anyone remember the Ford F150 Lightning mix up?
 
It'd be cool if you could enter categrised races and none categorised races. Or races where two or three categories could race together. It's one of thoes, if it was done in the right way ideas where it could be great but it could also ruin the game it's done wrong.
 
If they do, I hope the Corvette Stingray doesn't end up in muscle cars like other games. Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers, and Corvettes? I don't think so. Here's an idea for where to put the Corvette.

this for me is a definite no-no, remember toca race driver 2, you could only race certain cars on certain tracks and it was bloody awful?, i hated that and i wont let that terrible ailment affect the best game ever
 
I would like to race any car with any car , but in gt mode it would be better if they had only certain car with certain restriction so the race are more challenging. And I agree that it sucked that you couldn't race the car you wanted on the track you wanted.
