So? So the weather turned a tad sour. Are we supposed to feel sorry for you? You're on GTP, chill and forget the weather, man!

'kin 'ell, it's not that bad over here....

Typical Americans, you can't do anything by halfs can you? ;)

Good luck over there you guys, while half of you are getting barbecued the other half's getting soggy. Gutted for ya.

HECK NO Slip. If we set a fire, by god it will be the best damn fire you have ever seen. If were going to burn it, BURN IT! And if we want to flood it, FLOOD IT! We'll make it look like Noah had it easy :D

Man, I feel for you guys. It's 100 degrees F here on the East coast, and we're 2 inches behind on rainfall. But I wouldn't trade! Good luck to you.

Hey Nocturnal, do you know if the flooding has reached Poteet? I have friends and family there. Have not heard from them in a week or so. I am just wondering. Thanks. :)

I dont know. I would think soo cause all the little creeks and streams are all flooded out.

Hey Nocturnal.
I'll make a trade with you. You give Colorado some of that water you have soo much of and I will give Texas some of the fire that we have, so you can dry yourselfs out! :D

 Funny thing is, we were in stage one water restrictions. like 3 days before it started to rain. Now we have to stay in that stage for the rest of this month.

As of right now a severe storm is passing over my house. I have 15 puppies and 2 adult dogs. I was looking outmy kitchen window while I was getting a glass of water and I saw all the puppies in the rain playing around. Then all of the sudden a huge clap of thunder happened and all 15 of those puppies all darted in a line under the porch. It was so funny and cute. :)

With the ground as dry as it is out there in Texas, it makes it very difficult for the water to be absorbed into it. That makes for a prime flooding situation. :(
Out here in Colorado, it seems to be threatening rain right now. A similar situation could happen here if it were to rain heavily. Especially up here in the mountains, where the run off water has no place to go but down into the valley where everyone lives.
Experts are saying that it could "monsoon like rain" out here for the rest of the summer and we still would not be anywhere close to average rainfall amounts.

Where is that water Nocturnal. Hook me up!
Launching flaming lumber in your direction now. :D

Naw ill take the rain, deal with the fire ants and clean up afterwards then take the fires.

I like it just how it is in southern CA... dry, hot, and monotonous, though we did have a fit of overcast this morning. :)

I would love to have some of that rain right about now. All this heat is making me nauseous. If it wasn't so humid, it wouldn't be quite as bad.

Here in STL, temps have been well above 95 for over a week, with heat indecies around 110, with no rain. It rained yesterday, BUT NOT AT OUR HOUSE. It rained about 1/2 mile away from us, but were still dry, and my mom has to keep putting out the sprinklers all the time.

The only good out of this is incresed traction on the roads...

Just some breaking news tonight. Kind of scary too :( . Just to the west of san antonio here theres a dam that might give way. If this happends, a wall of water 60-feet high would wipe out a few towns and communitys that are in the way. :(

It has been roasting hot here in Massachusetts. Yesterday was the first cool day in awhile. Evolution Racer where are you in NH? If you know where Salem, NH is my town in Mass is right on the border.
