I just recently got the Hybrid program MKS V38. And it is working out ok....but I need to know how to change the Power Multiplier to improve my HP. When I click on it I can't change it but even withthe right-click I can't do nothing. So if anyone could help me and tell me how to change it so I can get more of a boost it would be greatly appreciated.

To alter settings - rather than parts - you need to "Export" the car. This creates an "ini" files, which you can read and edit in notepad.

This is all explained in my hybrids guide at http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/detomaso/343/gt3hybrid.html (if this link doesn't work, try the one in my signature... :D)

The guide covers every aspect of hybrids with mk's programme, including the power multiplier (aaaand if you check the credits in mk's programme :D). If you need any more help, feel free to ask me, but everything I know is crammed into that page.

Hit F1 to open the Help file, then check the credits therein...

Not something I've ever attempted, I'm afraid. I'd guess you can set all the licence tests to at least bronze with the 304 editing function, but I've never had cause to play around with the game data like this.

Heydu?

I already have gold on all license test but want to put better ones so I will have a challenge trying to beat those... little extra replay. And I got a Diablo and all... with just a few upgrades from the Hybrids and when I drive it it will go backwards but wont shift outta 1st and reverse will go forward but only has one gear.

That can be fixed in-game.

Go to the settings screen - either in Sim Mode/Home/Run&Settings or Arcade Mode/Free Run. Go to gears. Click each gear individually one click left then one click right, including Final Drive and Auto Gear. Save... :D

I may be wrong about this, but fixing it this way doesn't fix reverse, I don't think, and if your a lousy driver like me you need reverse.:D I would either swap in a working tranny, or edit the ratios in the ini file .

Actually, I can't drive the car - I'm in the PAL region. But I believe this does fix the entire 'box.

No idea, like U I have never had a desire to alter this, and as far as I know, no one has stumbled accross a way to edit it.

That's the gearing for the Diablo in the .ini file

Some cars didn't have their transmissions fixed, so you have to put one in from a different car.
