How did you discover GTPlanet?

I found this site through a search on google. I was actually looking for a car list for GT3 when I first bought the game. I saw that this site had a prize car list. I thought this sounded really cool and so I clicked on it. I used the prize list a lot and then saw that there was a message board. I was apprehensive at first because the last board I was on pretty much spiraled into anarchy and was eventually shut down. Now I'm glad I joined because I really enjoy being here. So, what's your story?

The same way i discovered in the 30000000000000000000 threads about this we've had in the past, through the link Jordan posted on the GTF when it was going down for a few weeks.

Here's my story (basically a wandering migrant from GTF; which I found from looking for GT2 codes):
My old filter (if anyone remembers it) blocked the GTF spontaneously. I was lost and needed help. I had recently been to the GTP looking for the same thing that I had found GTF through; a desire for infomation on GT3 and a want for a wallpaper. I used the wallpaper with the black background and the GT3 in the middle (the collage). Well, after I got so rudely kicked from the GTF, I didn't know what to do. I remembered emailing something to Famine and dug up his email address. After a couple days with no forums of any kind, Famine emailed me back and directed me to three of the smaller ones (House of GT, GT3Times, and GranTurismoNetwork). I was very active on these forums, until I noticed the "GTPlanet.net" in the lower-righthand corner of my wallpaper. I followed that link, and joined the GTP Community. IMO, it's the best GT forum out there...

Well. I did a couple of searches to see if this had already been discussed and both times my results came up with like 5 pages of material. I didn't look through each page with closely though. This always happens to me. I'm just gonna stop posting new threads because it seems every time I post something it has already been done.:banghead: :banghead: :irked:

Gabriel came down from Heaven and told me to become a disciple of Jordan.

There you go.

Looking for help on something I couldn't do in GT2. I can't remember anymore. Pretty sure it had something to do with the hard left after the first tunnel on Trial Mountain. Stupid turn. Also to compare lap times. But then I realized I suck(ed).

Me = Discovered GTP using Google. Was finding for a nice forums so I could become a member, and GTP is the best. Now I'm sucked into GTP and can't find my way out. It's pure addiction.

Eh, I searched for Gran Turismo 3 in Google and found GTP. I was looking for help with a series race at Laguna Seca. This was before I discovered gamefaqs.com too.

I was one of those immigrants that wandered onto the site when SCC put an article about GTP in the mag and I stuck around unlike most

I found it back when it was an MSN community. I left on vacation and came back and it was sort of, dead. So I went to gt3.com and I found that we had gone vB style.

Yep, Google. I was at RacingLine for a couple weeks, and I lost the address, so I searched and got here. Thank God.

I was looking for a good Prize car list for GT3 on gamewinners.com with no luck.So I thought I would just check out the forum on there, and I came across a thread that said"other good GT3 sites"So I checked this one out, and the rest is history.

Uh, I think I saw it from GTF, and came here...I can't remember, but I registered like the same day as I did there.

i found this place by mashing my keyboard while yelling profuse language at my computer why it froze up on me
