EDIT - please ignore this; I have now realised that even if a member's name does not autofill, if I type the full name and search, it shows their posting, so I am sorted.

I do some statistics for a community group on the thread in my signature and want to do a year-end clear-up of inactive members. The approach is firstly to see if they are still doing the time trial, which I have the data for.
The second step is to see if they are still active on gtplanet and that is where I need help. If I use the site's search function, leave the search term blank and enter a username, if the user is active their name appears and I can click through to their profile or activity. But if the gtplanet username that I have for them does not appear, there are some reasons I can think of for this, and for each I would like to know if there is a way I could check if it is true:
1. They have changed their username.
2. They have closed their account.
3. They have been inactive long enough for their name not to appear.
Are there other reasons their name may not appear, such as privacy settings?
I would appreciate any suggestions, thank you.
