How do I edit the .ini file with MKS and a Sharkport?

I have a Sharkport 2, and MKs v38. I cant adjust the Downforce or any of that stuff using MKs. But people have mentioned something about changing that by editing the .ini file for whichever car you want.

How do I do this? Can I only do this with a gameshark?

No you just right click on the car and export it. Then open it up seperately...

1-Finish hybriding your car and export it to an ini file.
2-Go to the folder where u saved the ini, and double click on it, it will open in notepad.
3-scroll down in the ini to lines 292 and 296. 292 is front DF and 296 is rear.
4-Change the values for those lines to the desired DF, IE:
292=-201
296=-211
would be front DF=2.00 and rear DF=2.10

Note that the actual line values have no decimal point, and the value is 1 greater than the actual DF, IE: -201=2.00

After U change the values, save the ini, and then import the ini into MK's over the old car. Then if u scroll down in the program window to the DF lines it will show the new DF. After this U can still change parts with the exception of the body, as when U change a body it will set it to the default DF for that body. Write the new save and upload it with the sharkport.

is it possible to changed the name of a car in gt3 in ini. format like "viper gts" to a "venom viper" can u guys tell me?

Nope, it can only be changed to a name that exists in the game.
