How do I get from 99% to 100% ?

I have won all golds in all races and championships in all modes.

I have also got all the bonus items and time attacks (except complex string) in Arcade mode.

Why am I only 99.0% complete ? Please can someone tell me how to get the last 1% ?

Well, I guess seeing as you say you haven't done the Complex String Time trial, that will be you last 1%. All the time trials count towards the percentage complete, so hopefully you do that one and make it to the magic 100%! I've still got a way to go yet, as I'm only on about 77%.
 
You're probably right, however I just assumed that it would take more than winning a single time trial to get 1% since winning races, etc. is only worth 0.2%. Presumably 99% is a special case.
 
This is one of the known "Glitches"

The percentage hangs from 99% to 100%. It never shows 99.X%

So aljones is right. Wrap up the complex string TT, and you'll have the 100%.

Complex String ... that was a glorious day. I think I beat the programed time by a full two seconds. That was after I finished second by less than a tenth of a second for weeks on end.

I love that track and i love that car, so it was a golden match for me:D
After some more tries i drove a 4.40.997
 
Great car, track's too long. I say cut that marathon track on half to come up with two tracks. Anyone wish to submit names?
 
I remember I had the same problem, not with the time trials, but with the last F1 race in Pro. It was the only thing to do, but I thought it would accumulate another .6% but the thing was stuck at 99.0%

Actually the hardest of the time trials for me was Tahiti Maze - I'm convinced the Logitech users have a disadvantage on the rally tracks. Not too happy to see that wretched track in GT Concept last night, I can tell you...
 
Many, many thanks to everyone who has responeded to my query.

All I have to do now is beat that complex string TT. After half a dozen attempts I can only get within 15 seconds of the fastest time. However, experience (and many late nights) has shown me that its just a matter of time!

Watch the demo, it's the only way.

You can be a lot faster through a couple of sections (especially up the back of the course) than you think you can.
