How do I get my CSR to work with GT5

Sorry if this has been asked, but I searched and couldn't find anything

So I can put it into PS3 mode and get the analog joystick to work, but thats about it. When I start a race my wheel doesn't turn the car at all and when I push the accelerator all I get is vibration in the wheel. Also, is there a way I can assign the buttons? Thanks!
 
Im not sure about this but have you put the wheel into PS3 mode? I dont have this wheel but the Fanatec wheels (all of them Im assuming) should have a PS3 mode. I dont know how it works with the CSR wheel since I only got a Carrera wheel. Hopefully someone who has this wheel can answer this.

As for assigning the button...nope :grumpy:
Fanatec wheels arent officially supported.
 
Just got it into PS3 mode. It was on a seperate piece of paper under one the boxes :ouch:. Anyways, it vibrates when I accelerate but nothing when I brake. Is this a wheel setting or game setting?
 
It should only vibrate when you brake though. And you can set it up in the wheel settings under ABS.
I don't have a CSR (or any Fanatec wheel) though, so can't help you any further.

What kind of pedals are you using? Maybe it has some influence on the wheel and people who know something might need to know. :dunce: sorry I am so useless this time around.
 
I have the same setup. CSR wheel, CSR Elite pedals, and shifter set. I turn on the PS3 first, then the wheel. Then, put the wheel it into PC mode, then to PS3 mode.
