How do I get Personal BGM to work?

I have a playlist set up, but when I select it within the GT5 options menu, it just constantly plays the first song in the list. If I don't select the playlist and instead use album menu it only plays the first song on the album I have selected. How do I SELECT IT ALL!?!?!

Did a search for this and nothing came up.
