How do I get the 2012 academy cars?

I haven't played in a while. I want to play in the new special event with the the academy car, but it said I had to earn by golding in the academy special events, which I missed. Is all hope lost?

All you can do is ask a friend to put the car on share as you can no longer play GT Academy to win them.

So yes, all hope is lost.
The spin-off game you needed to play GTA, "GT Academy 2012" is no longer playable as the actual GTA has finished. Therefore, you cannot play the game to actually get the cars.
Also, IIRC, the car is not tradeable and is therefore not borrowable either.
Sorry about that, but life's just cruel sometimes. 👎

(Confirmed by myself. Opened tickets on one account, max tuned it and used it with 2 of my alt-accounts. Tickets can`t be sent like the car itself.)

Okay, so if you did participate in GT Academy 2012, you're pretty much screwed... The only thing you can do is to ask a friend to "Share" them in his/her profile... OR you can ask people for the 2 GT Academy Cars that are tradable... One of them is EXACTLY like the 2012 version (I'm talking about the 370Z Tuned Car (GT ACADEMY VERSION) '08 that you get for Round 8 (AKA the hardest round) of 2012) from 2011's GT Academy... The only diffrence between the 2 versions are :
2011 version : Written on doors "Nissan GT Academy PS3"
2012 version : Written on doors "Nissan GT Academy 2012"

I swear that is the only diffrence... well that... and the paint... but you can paint 2011 same colour as 2012... People won't make a diffrence

Did you even check out my thread? The Leaf isn't tradable... It's from 2012... Only the 2011 version 370Z Tuned Car and the GT-R SpecV are tradable... Go take another look at my thread

All newly released Academy cars are untradable.

However, they all can be shared(borrowed) from someone who has them.
