How do i get the Gold Chrome?

hi all, up untill today i didn't know that you could get a gold chrome paint but now i know you can i was wondering how i go about getting one? can anyone help me please? thank you

Trade for it, or start collecting lots of cars. I think you get it somewhere between 200 and 300 cars...I could be wrong...

You get a Matte paint or a chrome for every 30 cars you get. 👍

Use the save game trick. Get up to 1 short of a multiple of 30 and then back up your save and buy the 30th car. Reset until you get the color desired.

I have 1 to trade, look in the marketplace for them.

Gold chromes are new. They came with that last update.

See what paint it is.
Quit game if not paint desired(BEFORE HITTING OK).
Start game again.

Repeat.

Yeah, chrome sometimes is hard to get. Turned my PS 20 times on/off during my first attempt - no chrome, I gave up. It came after 4 tries 2nd attempt, after about 10 at my third.

gold chrome seems to be a lot more common than the silver chrome. i was able to get the gold chrome by doing the "30 cars+ gt5 reset" trick for about 20 minutes. i have tried it countless times to get the silver chrome but no luck

I got gold chrome the last 2 times. :\ Kinda lame since I'd rather get matte purple/orange.

I tried the every 30 cars and restting trick, never had a chrome colour or anything, I must of been trying for an hour and gave up, everytime it was a matte colour.

Rik, the best way is to buy the 30th car then exit out when you see the screen saying you have reached x amount of cars you win horn and paint. If you do not hit ok, the game will not recognize you as receiving the paint, and you can easily just reload the game and when it opens, you will get the prompt for the horn and paint again. Rinse and repeat.

Must not have been your day then. I did it 3 times on two accounts and I got the gold chrome.

I tried about 7 times today and got Gold Chrome. Now to get 30 more cars and Silver Chrome. The amount of times Matte Silver or Grey comes up is unbelievable.

Probably because they want to be kept like the chromes and are upset that you ditch them for the chromes.

Well, you are in luck, because I don't have a silver chrome (yet). Add either one of my PSNs and after the refresh you will have a gold chrome.
