How do I make my Escudo go fast?

I recently bought a Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Version. Apparently It's a really really fast car. But I can't seem to make it go any faster than 285mph. The final gear ratio is all the way at wide, my ride height is at a minimum and I have all the best parts.
How do i adjust the other gear ratios to give this car it's optimum speed? I can't figure out what the other gear ratios (besides the final) do. Can anyone help?

OK, note to all newbies, see those things at the top that say READ ? your actually supposed to read those before you asking anything! so, future n00bs please dont keep asking the same damn questions its getting old
 
If you REALLY want the Escudo to go fast, you should try stepping on the gas!!:p
