hi all

i got a copy from a friend who got it the same time as GT4. need less to say he plays the one he can understand and gave me his copy of enthusia.

now...

how do i play it? what are the modes? i took a printout of the screen caps from the other post, but apart from that, whats the point of the game.

any help would be great!

At first I'd play Driving Revolution; these 18 levels are like licence tests and you'll learn Enthusia'S game mechanics...
After that you can try Enthusia life, ok what is the point? As always : win !
More points indicate a more difficult race...
Have fun !
Awesome game...

I'm playing Gt4 and enthusia at same time ... and i have to tell you that Enthusia is far more realistic than gt4... in the car dinamics

i played it abit last night.

very cool.

is it best to ace the diving revolution stuff or is an A or B ok?

Well, that is the same thing with golding the licences in GT4, some do, others don't...
In general they are not too difficult, so you should try to get S... later however.... puuh... if I think of the last test with the LeMans Audi in Löwenseering... I don't think that I would have the nerves to get a S ranking there...

After beating the DR mode you have about 200 cars in time trial/ free race mode ...
Rufs, Dauer, Nismos, etc

There´s a total of 211 cars on Enthusia, by getting all S´s on Driving Revolution mode you unlock all cars in Time Trial and Free Race modes.

Life Mode consists on getting to the top of the rank, between 1000 other drivers in a limited number of weeks. In a week time you can either race, change cars or rest. So you gotta watch out for your HP meter not to get much low, because if it reaches zero you´ll have to rest or change cars to get it back up.

Is it also possible to use "surround gaming" in EPR, like in GT4??
In GT4, you need 3 monitors, 3 PS and 3 copies of GT4

How do i unlock tracks in a free race/timeattack mode?
By playing Life Mode. As soon as a track is available on Life Mode it will also unlock on Free Race and Time Trial modes, you don´t even need to race them.

All the cars you start off with are crap, honestly. Of the initial eight or so cars you're offered, pick something RWD, as you'll have an easier time driving RWD's in the game if you start off with a low-powered one and work your way up. The E30 M3 is an excellent "2nd" car.

To unlock tracks for use in FR (free racing) and TA (time attack) modes you must get them available in EL (enthusia life). But in EL you'll only unlock the normal versions of these tracks. To unlock the reverse version of any track you must win a free race in the "normal" version of it (default setting and no black flags).

Unlocking cars for use in FR and TA can be done both in DR (driving revolution) and in FR.

In DR you unlock cars by categories ( C class cars, B class cars, etc.) if you keep getting "S on the stages (there are 72 in the game, divided in 18 levels). If indeed you get "S" on ALL stages, you'll unlock ALL cars just using DR.

That can be hard (I'm still one "S" short of it), but luckily you can also unlock cars in FR.

In this mode, you unlock cars you race against, if they finish the race after you (if you finish 2nd, you'll unlock the cars that finish 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, but not the one that won the race), provided you can end that race without black flags.

I've got all 211 cars unlocked. All categories but the "R" one (race cars) were unlocked in DR. The race cars were unlocked racing against them in FR.

Hope this helps.

Now this game works with the DFP, correct? Or is the a better wheel to use?

Yes, it works with the DFP. However, some say it is very difficult to drive (and drift like we all like to do it) with the direct input of the 900º. Since I don't have a DFP, just the old DF, all I can say is that with my wheel it is a great drive.
