How Do I Transfer My GT5 Profile PS3 - PS3?

I have a PS3 and my girlfriend has a PS3. I wanted to play with my GT5 Profile at her house but when I login / power on GT5, it wants to start completely from the beginning. How do I get my cars, level, and profile to transfer?!!! In games like Battlefield Bad Company 2, you just login and it updates. Help please!
 
I don't believe you can, it's copy protected to a PS3 system, so it can only be played at that particular PS3. I believe it has been made that way to prevent people to copy cars that way - but it didn't work as there was something called a Birthday gift ;)
 
That's pretty awesome from PD isn't it? If your ps3 brakes you have to start from scratch again. I have big fat ps3 at home which is now about what 4 years old? (i got the first generation). If i compare that to a pc it should be near death by now

So will be nice to start from scratch again.

My PS3 is that old as well. Just get a 60GB hard drive and back it up. These hard drives are really cheap nowadays.
 
And what do you do once it's backed up and your PS3 is fried? Can the backup be transferred to another PS3? I haven't done one before so I don't know.
 
My second slimline of the year looks like its on the way out. Unless its an online problem. If it goes GT5 will be never played again because that is ridiculous.

At least with online black ops I can launch my ps3 off a bridge and know my profile will be there when I get a new ps3.
