How do I turn off that miserable song that is ALWAYS playing in the menus???

You must all know what I'm talking about, its the one with the girl (or girly boy) that is singing "AAYYEE EEE AHH I OOO" god I don't know what it is.

Please, what is the name of this song. I'm actually going crazy. Please tell me how to turn it off.
 
You can't. It's impossible.

There's actually a whole thread for people who love that song. I don't understand those people.

I hope the option to use your own BGM music gets put in eventually. GT5 with GT1 BGM would be epic.
 
Go to the music library, isolate the menu music soundtracks until you find it. When you do remove it from the menu music list.

Personally I'm not sure which one you're talking about.
 
If you go to the music library and click a song then hit the Triangle (Menu) button you can set where the song plays (Race BGM, Menu BGM and Slideshow BGM) or doesn't play.

I think he's talking about the Pnau - Baby song, i hate that song too. So damn annoying.

Yes, and its not in the music library...

I hated it when the song was released here last year, so I was disappointed when it was in the game.

At this point I would PAY to change the menu music that we can't change. Especially the one with the kids singing about love. I find it ridiculous that we don't have the option to trash those horrible songs.
 
I turned all the music off then i put my own cd on the cd player. I find it alot better way to play driving like i am in my own car with my own music on.
 
Since the 1.05 patch you can obviously have your own playlist as menu music so no more "BABY I DON'T KNOW.............JUST WHY I LOVE YOU SO?" :P
 
It's no way near as annoying as the 70s porn music in the parts shop, or 'The Entertainer' done on the tinkling piano for GT Auto.
 
First time I've heard of it (here on youtube)

Playing UK pal version :D I always get "jazzy" music in the menus.

Have you done this? because you can't deselect the standard event loading music as it's not in the library.
 
Can someone please tell me how to turn off racing music, I want to race without annoying music tracks in the back ground, I want to hear the car ! Must be me, but couldn't find It. Only have the game 2 days) I found the menu, but do you really have to kill every song one by one ?

Exit GTLife and return to the initial screen where it has "GT Life, Arcade, Course Maker, etc."
Go to "Options" (icon looks like a gear).
Then go down to "Hardware"
The go right to "Audio"
Then set "Race BGM" to "Off".

That song has driven me bat:censored: crazy. I like the tune but I hate the singing. I do not know why PD would choose to use a song with lyrics knowing that we would hear it over and over again. Did it never occur to them that it would get repetitive?:yuck:
