How do replays work?

So I have been doing the limited single players game (license tests, etc) and it seems as though the replays are in a box smaller than the screen. Also, you don't get the changing camera angles like in prior games. Do full screen replays with changing camera only happen on arcade races? Or online races? Watching the replays in the older games was one of the best parts.

Im pretty sureyou can watch the replay when you return to the pre race screen.

Try the R1 button.

You can also zoom in with the triangle button.
