How do Time Trial/Drift Seasonals work?

I've heard conflicting explanations.
1) everyone gets a prize
2) only the top three get a prize

I tried them a few times and don't think I ever got any money for them, so am I right in thinking it's only the top players?
 
Beat the times/point scores listed, get prize. The listed times/scores are static.
 
As Famine said, beat the times to claim the prizes in credit form, no experience for A-Spec.They are as follows:
Bronze: 100,000
Silver: 150,000
Gold: 250,00
With the 9/10 days log in bonus, that's double each of those. Achieving gold first time means it's cumulative, so you get 500,000 straight away. There are normally two TTs and two DTs, so a total of 2 million in credits available, doubled to 4 million with 200% log in bonus. Getting a faster time/score than the gold is only useful on terms of world and friend rankings.
 
Thanks, guys. :) Everything I wanted to know. Guessing time trials have changed since I last tried them. Either that or I didn't pay enough attention last time.
