How do you cope with homework?

I don't cope with homework. I tend to put it off to the last minute, when the pressure is so overwhelming that I am forced to do it. Tonight is a great example. It's currently 11:40 pm and I still haven't finished my Spanish. :rolleyes:
 
But it's Saturday, you have Sunday to do it.
 
Nope, I'm going to a concert tomorrow. KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas to be exact (anybody in SoCal will know what I mean.)

San Jose is considered NorCal, I believe. You have to be somewhere near Los Angeles or San Diego to really be considered SoCal. Although I suppose that anything south of Santa Barbara could be considered SoCal. It's been a pleasure hijacking this thread.

All my friends hate me too. Come to think of it, I should go to bed if there is any chance of me waking up before the concert starts...
 
I get very easily distracted when doing homework. I'll do anything to get out of doing homework untill it is absolutely neccesary.

This usually ends in homework being done the night before or in the morning before going in. But it always gets done :rolleyes:
 
I don't know really, i just kinda, do it when i have to. It usually gets left till sunday, at about 3pm.
 
I have exams on tuesday, wednesday, and thursday. I'm unprepared for all three! :dopey:
 
I have Mock GCSE exams Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday :sly:

And I'm unprepared for all 5 :dopey:

Or do it on the morning of its due in.

Or if its a 3 month piece of geography coursework get it done in the last 24 hours before its due in.
 
Well if I actually do get off my a** and do my homework (which hasn't happened much this year btw :D) I usually listen to eurobeat while doing it, gets teh juices flowin. ;) Or I do it sitting on what I like to call "The Thinking Chair" which is my toilet, whichever comes first.
 
Well, we have a BIG speech at the end of the year for 8th grade. It's for Social Studies.

All these interesting topics in class with LOADS of info to delve into... I have been making notes in my notebook on it. I have around 3 columns on 1 side of the paper and half of one on the back.

Speech is 15 mins long.


Anyways, my first class is Zero Hour math at 7:30 when school starts at 8:20. This means the time I SHOULD be in 8th grade math, I have a study hall. I have that one, lunch time study hall which is the 3rd section of 6th hour after lunch and "recess". My last one is on Mon and Tues. So those two days, I have 3 study halls. I get most of my homework done in class. I haven't brought hardly anything home this year except for when I screw off in class all day. Those days are when I end up with a 45 min detention too.

Beleive it or not i actually got a B for the coursework. i got C in the higher exam.
 
My mates seem to have mssive folders and countless graphs for their Geog coursework.
 
some rum&coke, Nature sounds cds... YES I SAID IT !!! Nature's sound cds.... Did it again... :)

Cant wait to go back to school right now... Dunno why lol
 
I won't have homework for the next three weeks! YAY!!! That's how I cope with homework this time of year :)
