Some AWD cars have a setting where you can destribute the power more towards the rear, but I guess that kinda defeats the purpose of an AWD.

Other than that, slicker tires, more power, e-break will all help.

in the shop go down to the last section and buy the last part from the list, you can change the power out put to the rear with that.

Also if anyone has trouble drifting front wheel drive, buy a 1 way LSD and the new brakes.

EDIT: Also try using the braking entry( found in olracing school threat) technic. its easy to do with an FF.

p.s. srry for getting of topic, i hope i helped.

feint or accel off. depends on the car i guess.

i usually use accel off to start most of my drifts.

or i'll use the regular breaks, i have them set more towards front bias and i'll tap them or hold for a split second while turning.

only on certain turns will i use feint.

Being a AWD drifter...

Other than that, slicker tires, more power, e-break will all help

slicker... = more grip? u mean sims
power range should be 400-500hp as SilviaDrifter would say
e-brakes... DO NOT USE to start your drift...

The reason why you are understeering is that you are either setting wrong on the camber toes... the vcd.. etc.

If you have good setting you just need to realize that AWD vehicles don't turn as easily as FR cars... you need a lot more feint motion and should start accelerating once u achieve the drift ANGLE...

In other words... just practice ;)

yeah, the one reason i can't drift FR cars is b/c i am used to drifting AWD.

so i am used to hitting the gas when i get sideways, and everytime i try to drift FR i end up spinning out b/c i try to hit the throttle.

and i definately never use the e brake

Lower the Front more than the back so when you accelerate there isnt as much wiegth taken off of the front wheels and it should create better oversteer, also change to a higher sgpring rate.

Double post^^, and that doesn't give a good feeling while drifting. Most drifters here would reccomend against putting on different tires. I know I definently dont like that feeling of it.
