FYI, its got nothing to do with real love.

How do you get along with your subject teachers?

Last year's Englsih teacher was the one I always poked. It all started in the school trip... :sly:
Last year's Science teacher, is..umm great but I never poked him... :grumpy:
This year's Enlgish teacher rocks. She's really nice and patient, and has an awesome sense of humor.

Considering I can barely understand 2 of my professors, okay?

Dynamics guy has a moderate Russian (I think) accent, while my Linear Algebra Prof in from India...

My History of the Middle East prof is awesome, have had him in a previous course.
My Mechanics of Materials prof is just flat out crazy, but nice.
And my Econ prof is a Japanese guy with no accent... and is kinda funny with his laptop issues at times.

I'm confused. Is all this legal?

Is what legal? Talking about professors? How would it be illegal? No names etc are mentioned, but its not like you can't just look them up on the schools' public sites.

So now that you've confused us with a small and seemingly meaningless question, how about you clarify it?

*poke*

Hee hee! :dopey:

Last year, most of my teachers were awesome, my Social Studies teacher was nice, so was my CAD teacher, and my Computer Apps teacher was cool.

Teachers I despised : Mr. Cummings, our principal. Guy was insane, I swear.

One of my Professors is actually my "student adviser" and co-chair of the Political Science department (my major), so we get along fabulously. Same can be said of one of my other Professors, who is the chair of the Poli Sci department... We disagree politically, but I think he is a great guy.

Otherwise, I can't understand my Chemistry Professor (he is Chinese), my History Professor is one that I know and we get along well enough, and my Golf "Professor" is just a nice guy that helps me out.

I really have only had one Professor who I didn't like at Aquinas, mainly because he was one of those kinds of Liberals who won't shut his face, and then after he threatens to kill the President (shortly before he makes a visit to our town), denies it, and attempts to spin it as though all of us who are in his class are against him and his freedom of speech...

Well I've finished school 3 years ago. I'm now at a technical college learning to be an carpenter...... so it's just like school was except we build roof trusses and wall frames instead of doing exams.

My teacher, quite frankly, is brilliant. He really appeals to my learning style and explains everything in perfect detail. He's also a great bloke in general. He's not afraid to come down to our (the students) level, even if it means swearing in class or dancing at the lights whilst driving the school bus every friday afternoon.
For small reasons like that, it feels less like he's teaching and more like a good mate showing you how to do something. I think the whole class feels a real connection to him. In fact, our teacher is already hinting at having us all round his house at the end of the course for a couple of brews :)

Best teacher I've ever had 👍

Last year, my Calc teacher thought I was great, my film teacher was awesome, my French teacher loved my, and my TA teacher was my calc teacher. History was ok, but I didn't really like her and my Engineering teacher was awesome.

This year, we'll see. My calculus prof was odd, my first impression wasn't good at all. I don't think I will learn from her very well. My German prof is awesome. I jsut have to get him to like me too. Chem lecture prof seems cool. Chem lab prof treats us like middle schoolers, and the FYS lady is an Englich teacher through and through.

Last years business teacher was awesome. He's only 26 and graduated from the school i'm in now. He was offered a basketball scholarship. Lets you listen to music in his class and you can make fun of him and he never gets mad:)

I hated my philosophy lecturer, last year he wanted me to rewrite EVERY single one of my assessments and i told him to **** off (really i did!) he failed me on all the exams, was strange that i managed to pass every other subject with no problems yet with his he always said my work wasnt good enough.ah well back there again this year to annoy him :)

You're talking about "poking" your teachers, and qualities that make it seem like you wanna date them.

To quote South Park, "Niccccccceeee..."
