How do you get gold on license test B-5?

Just watch the demo and remember the exact speed of the demo car through each of the corners. Your exit speed is the most important thing on any big corner or series of turns. Just make sure you hit the brakes at the right spot and maintain the right speed through the corners.

In these full-lap tests they usually aren't actually going all-out and you can try adding a couple MPH through some of the major corners and beat the demo.

If you like this one you'll love IB-5 -- 1 lap at Costa di Amalfi. In pretty much the whole downhill section the pace car is just begging you to ram him and fail.

its not worth trying to get all gold, all silver worked fine for me...

That's an interesting angle. If you don't care why wouldn't you just get bronze and be done with it? If you do care why wouldn't you try a little harder and get gold?

Hey guys, not sure if everyone is aware of this or not, I found out on accident, but if you hit the R3 button during any test (while driving), the blue dotted 'best line' appears, and it turns red to show you exactly when to brake and white to show when you should be off the gas. Really helps on the more tricky license tests. 👍

Hit R3 and follow the line it helps a bunch.

Also don't rev the engine at the starting block as it kils some time.

Yes, but only for the B and A licences, and you can't use it when the pace car is there. So if you're doing IB or above, or see a pace car, you're on your own. No stripes on the road to help you out.

i noticed in gt4p that there is much faster ways to drive than is showd in the demo so try other ways driving that lesson..

Sorry to revive this but I just got within 50 milliseconds of Gold. I quit this game for like 2 weeks and then went back to it again and now I really dont see much point in going back for a while because I just cant seem to duplicate what I just did. Does anyone know if the strategy guide for this game has detailed outlines for license tests or not? Thanks.
