I know there are folks here who enjoy it. How do you make it a fun, competitive race?
Best I can tell, the AI has no idea how to drive the Indianapolis oval. They use brakes when there is absolutely no need.
It seems I would have to use a GT car with a bad setup to make it close. Using an LMP, there is no way to lose...since you never have to brake.

Ideas?

The fastest AI car when I ran that race did laps in 45-46ish seconds, the slowest car was about 49. If you want to make it competitive, a car like the Ford GT Spec II Test Car would probably be a good choice. Also, in that series the Audi R8s usually win since they dont have to pit as often, so keep that in mind.

Use one of those Pescy cars ;) They're awesome ;)

EDIT: I used the Judd Race Car won with a half lap I pittet like 2 times more then them so the farest I got ahead was maybe one and a half lap, the funny part was that I runned out of fuel during the last turn of the last lap.. rolled over the finish line with style :D
